Oldie But Goodie!

Do your students know the song, Up On the Housetop? It was written in 1860 so it’s definitely an “oldie!” For those students who don’t know it, I teach them how to sing it first. We talk about the words and how they describe common toys and names from many years ago. They enjoy learning a bit of history and think the song is lots of fun to play.
